Raffles Hotel
We were told that the Raffles Hotel has the longest bar in the south Pacific. The painting hanging behind the bar is supposedly Raffles wife, reclining on the tiger skin from the tiger he shot in his house/hotel as it lay sleeping on his pool table! Urban legend? Don't know, but makes for a great story don't you think?
